Delivery Driver Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain delivery vehicles, following all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload goods onto delivery vehicles, ensuring that they are properly secured.
- Plan delivery routes and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers or designated locations.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects before delivery, and report any issues to management.
- Collect and process payments from customers, as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and payments, and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Perform routine maintenance on delivery vehicles, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
- Keep delivery vehicles clean and organized, both inside and out. Follow company policies and procedures related to delivery operations, safety, and customer service.
